.....I didn’t identify with brokenness until I found PEACE..... just B

It’s often humorous to reflect on life—survival or defensive reactions versus conscious, sometimes unconscious, minded responses. Moments that cause expressions such as ROTFLMBO, WTH, TGBTG, 2M2H, 2GTBT, 4COL, or FUTAB.  It often feels like a roller coaster:  slow inclines, abrupt drops, inversions and tight loops. You eventually come to the end of the ride ending with a slow glide to stop.  The experiences cause tears, screams, sometimes laughter and hands in the air but foremost, it propels you forward – the divine thrust.

Just B is inspired by seemingly tumultuous life experiences that disintegrated my total being. I am a living testament that there’s no one like JEHOVAH! I give God the praise for carrying me during 10 years of earthly and spiritual purgatory.  Outwardly, I looked in-tact .. thriving profession, nice car and house, vacations, personal wardrobe shopper, well-mannered children and a spouse.  What more could a girl ask for, right? The outside was deceiving, my inside was tore up from the floor up. My inner man was in a fight to win, I wrestled and fought psychologically until I could not fight any longer.  My fight became physical with thoughts and deeds that did not match God’s purpose for my life.  He intervened! He rescued me! Yes, I felt defeated, neglected, ashamed and alone.  I have Good News! God Did It!  He taught me that warriors are not fighters, their fight is not to win but to transform.  Hallelujah! I am transformed!

Transformation, although a product of heat, pressure or natural deterioration, is beautiful. Have you ever witnessed a rainbow after a pelting rainstorm? How refreshing. The calm before a storm? A moment of tranquility. God brought me out with purposeful lessons of direction, spiritual maturity, strong spiritual relationship and acknowledgement of ME. My experiences heightened my support of mental health awareness, domestic abuse (it’s not always physical) and self acceptance. Best of all, I discovered my ministry, my calling, what God really wants for me.

Just B represents individualism—independent, free-thinking and original. Whatever you do, just B you ... do it your way. Join me as I use this platform to encourage, promote and connect.  We all have a story; we experience whatever we experience for someone else.  There is someone waiting for you to shine your light of hope on their path.  You are destined to help someone heal.  Share your story ... walk in your purpose. 

I am undeniably thankful for my three nuggets – Darius, Devin and Destiny — words cannot justifiably describe how much I appreciate their love and support. I cannot stop thanking my almighty God for doing what only He could do — just B.
