War Cry

Father God, we come before you asking for protection over our families near and far.  As the foundational unit of society, we pray that no trouble nor evil influences beckon our hearts today.  We pray that, as we are separated, you are omnipresent abiding with each of us.  Allow each of us to display love instead of hate, joy instead of anger and unity instead bitterness.  Amen.      

Lord, comfort those that are suffering, those that are ill physically, mentally and spiritually.  Your love abounds towards us all you are able to do what the doctors say is impossible.  We stand now God with confidence in the power of your grace; even when I am afraid I put my trust in you.  Amen.

God your word says that as I seek first your kingdom and righteousness you, Jehovah Jireh, will provide my needs.  I ask that you give me wisdom to be a responsible steward of the resources afforded me.  God where there is a deficit, I ask that you grant me the wisdom to alter my habits, live within my means and lead me to a place of giving and not borrowing.  Amen.

Lord Jesus your love is in me, a flame that burns inside my heart lending light to all I do, think, and say.  Your love dances in my heart as I call on your name Jesus to heal this wayward land.  Free us from the entanglement of evil, free us from the spirit of destruction, free of from the thoughts of bondage.  Bring PEACE to the land that will allow individuals to honor diversity, respect religion, engage in peaceful talks to resolve disagreements. I solemnly ask in your Almight name, Jesus. Amen.

Holy Spirit, thou are welcomed in this place of learning.  We pray for all administrators, teachers, parents, students, transporters, custodians, and counselors.  We pray for all who are responsible for educating children and adults.  Our prayer is that you will condition everyone's mind and heart for learning during this pandemic.  Environments and methods are different.  Grant patience, confidence and dedication. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Towdah .. I lift my hands in reverence to you Lord. Thanking you for this day and this hour. My total praise belongs to you as I embark on the first day of the ninth month.  So many didn’t make it, thank you Lord that I am one that did! Thank you for being a great God that sits high and looks low to protect, comfort and guide me. Thank you God for a new day! Another chance to transform, another  opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus Christ! Cover me today. Amen.
